Totally Enclosed
Fan-Cooled (TEFC) externally mounted hoist motor with high duty
cycle and switching frequency designed for hoisting service
-
Welded steel drum
with accurately machined grooves and large cable to drum diameter ratio
Optional Features
-
Variable speed drives and
soft start controls
-
2 speed hoist motor

-
Load limiter: Prevents lifting over the hoist rated capacity.
The additional adjustable load limiter Reduces the potential for making
hazardous over capacity lifts. The load limiter protects the hoist from
damage due to overloading. Overloading the hoist electrically activates
the load limiter, making the hoist lifting inoperable (the load can still
be lowered at any time).
-
Second Brake: The additional second Lenze BFK458 electric magnetic
disc brake on the hoist gear reducer has a 125% safety factor. The spring
loaded brake operates automatically upon loss of power.
-
Trolleys: Have drop-forged, high tensile steel wheels accurately
machined with shielded ball bearings for smooth operation. Motor-driven trolleys are powered by TEFC squirrel cage brake motors.

Diagram
|
|
|
 |
|
(1)
Gear Unit |
|
|
Two-stage
heliocentric gear unit mounted to one side of the
body. The high quality surface hardened gear
wheels ensure:
- long life
- noiseless operation at highest efficiency. |
|
(2)
Body |
|
|
The new design of the body has a rectangular
shape, with an extra-strong welded flange connection
between the motor and the gear unit. The
rope's outlet in all possible directions permits the
utilization of various assembly configurations and
positions. |
|
(3)
Rope Drum |
|
|
Equipped with ball
bearings. The effort is transferred by means of a
grooved shaft. |
|
(4)
Flexible Coupling |
|
|
The torque of the hoist motor is transmitted to the
reduction gears through a coupling which is flexible
in both radial and axial directions. |
|
(5)
Rope Guide
|
|
|
New design. No special tools are necessary for the
replacement of the rope guide. Ensures precise rope
winding and unwinding. Possibility for rope deviation ±40.
Actuates the end limit switch for end upper and end bottom
position of the hook. |
|
(6)
Hook Block
|
|
|
The block-hook has entirely new construction corresponding to
the modern technical safety requirements. Easy operation
with minimum dead weight. |
|
(7)
Hoisting Motor |
|
|
Powerful motor with an
integrated conical brake and sliding
rotor. The
different combinations of motors and gear units expand the range
of the available lifting speeds. |
|
(8)
Mechanical Brake |
|
|
Brakes
are asbestos-free. Reliable, automatic brake operation in case of power
loss. |
Also in
included, but not shown in diagram:
Trolleys
The trolleys are a completely new
structure, connected directly
to the rectangular shaped body, ensuring optimum load
distribution on the travel wheels. Travel wheels are
driven by a brake motor and heliocentric gear unit.
Increased range of traveling speeds. Stageless fitness
along the width of the monorail traveling track.
Electric Equipment
Terminal box as a separate unit. Contactor control at 42V
control voltage. Terminal box of the motor has a built-in
end limit switch |
